The Office in North Park / San Diego is hosting a LIVE tribute to the Kinks as part of their monthly Under Cover series. Bart Mendoza will sing two songs including a song from 1965 and one for the "Soap Opera" album.

Los Angeles trio, The Eddies covered Manual Scan's song "Jungle Beat" on their 2007 album, Twice Around the World - they later release an updated version on a CD single. Thats legendary producer Earle Mankey on drums!

SDMA Acoustic Showcase March 17

Bart Mendoza will perform a short acoustic set as part of the annual San Diego Music Awards Acoustic Showcase, taking place at Grassroots Oasis on March 17. It's an incredible bill with Jeff berkley, steph johnson, Kimm Rogers, Lady Rogo, Eve Selis and many more! Bart will be joined by Mark DeCerbo of powerpop legends Four Eyes, and Spike Mike Mullenberg. Show starts at 6:45 p.m. and is all ages - funds raised go to the San Diego Music Foundation, helping bring music back to city schools.
