Unherd -TV and San Diego Music Voices filming

Bart Mendoza made an appearance on San Diego television program, Unherd, airing Saturday November 25 on ABC-TV 10 (11:45 p.m.). A reel of bloopers was posted online and can be seen here: Unherd Episode #72 Bloopers

Tom Petty Tribute / Music Cares Fundraiser January 6 at the Casbah

On January 6 The Casbah will be the site of an amazing Tribute to Tom Petty, featuring an all-star band: Andrew McKeag (Presidents of the U.S. / Uncle Joe's Big Ole Driver), Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt / Hot Snakes / Earthless), Timothy Joseph (Buckfast Superbee), Ben Moore (Pocket / The Styltones) and Chris Torres. As if that wasn't enough, they will be joined by an incredible lineup of musicians including True Stories (Bart Mendoza, David Fleminger, Greg Smith, Lee Smith), Joey Harris (The Beat Farmers), Schizophonics, Dead Rock West, The Sara Petite Band, Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession), Shelbi Bennett (Midnight Pine), Daniel Cervantes, Dani Bell (Boychick), Matthew Molarius (Transfer / Redwoods Collective). The show is a benefit for Music Cares - Tickets are on sale soon!

OB Farmer's Market Holiday Show December 13

The Ocean Beach Farmer's Market will host their annual Holiday Show on December 13, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Featuring sets from a who's who of San Diego performers, the event is hosted by Michael Head of The Country Rockin' Rebels. Performers are still being confirmed with Alicia Previn and Bart Mendoza amongst the first TBA. The show is outdoors, on the street, at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Bacon street, it's a unique place to hear music, a block from the beach and in the midst of a cool farmer's market
