New Music Scene SD column

 The latest edition of Music Scene SD is out - The October / November edition includes an interview  with producer Andy Rasmussen, about his compilation album, Look Out / The San Diego Scene 1958 -1973, featuring The Cascades, Glory, The Brain Police, Sandy and the Accents, The Misfits, The Lyrics, Jamul and many more. Plus an interview with new combo, Sorry It's Over, and an interview with guitarist Dave Gleason about his songs recording by Terri Clark / Ricky Skaggs. Manual Scan 7" Picture Disc December 1

 Manual Scan's "Plan of Action" EP is being reissued by Spain's SNAP! Records on December 1, on black vinyl, blue vinyl and as a picture disc - it's the first in a 7" reissue series from the label, consisting of classic out of print North American mod, powerpop, garage, punk and rock 'n' roll, releases from the 1970's and 1980's. Others in the first batch are New Jersey's Mod Fun and two from Sacramento: The Decibels and The E-Types

Bickerton Records News: Manual Scan

Bickerton Records has released records by all three of Bart Mendoza's bands - both The Shambles and the True Stories vinyl editions are out of print from the label, but you can order the new Manual Scan 10" Underground Files! This is the latest ad as seen in Shindig! Magazine. Bart Mendoza also wrote the liner notes in The Event album pictured.
