Carlsbad, Calif. – The ninth edition of Sounds Like San Diego
takes place at the Museum of Making Music on November 2. Featuring today’s
artists performing hits made famous by past San Diego based hitmakers 1955-
today, the all ages event is hosted by music historian Bart Mendoza. Sounds
Like San Diego mixes details about the tunes and artists, with terrific
renditions of songs that might include tunes by The Cascades, Iron Butterfly,
Jim Croce, Jack Tempchin, David Gates, Ratt, The Monroes, The Beat Farmers,
Stephen Bishop, Jason Mraz, Blink 182, Jewel and more -
