Manual Scan Airplay and Reviews

Manual Scan has shown up in a few spots online and on air recently:

Legendary music magazine Maximum RocknRoll (#465) has a great review of Manual Scan's Plan of Action EP  reissue (SNAP! Records) by Dana Katharine: "Upbeat, unpretentious, and delightfully catchy, every song on here is a winner."

91X-FM's Loudspeaker program, hosted by Tim Pyles and Lou Niles, played Manual Scan's version of "Come See Me" on February 20.

Boys About Town was a short lived band  that essentially played one live gig in San Diego and one radio show in San Francisco, notable for it's core of Ed Ball (The Times, Television Personalities, O-Level), Paul Bevoir (The Jetset, Small Town Parade) and Simon Smith (Merton Parkas, Mood Six, Wedding Present) with Anthony Meynell (Squire) at the radio show and Manual Scan's Bart Mendoza at the live gig. Here is a three part blog from Anthony Meynell about Boys About Town, primarily about the KUSF radio session, but photos included feature Bart with the band at the concert and Manual Scan backing Anthony Meynell at an earlier gig
