True Stories set list June 23 / OB Street Fair

Here's what True Stories played at the Artists Alley stage at the 39th Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair.  The band went on at noon, with Falling Doves performing right before. That band includes drummer Greg Smith who also plays with True Stories - Bart Mendoza joined them on lead vocals for a closing  version of "Ticket To Ride." True Stories featured Scott Mathiasen on lead guitar, filling in for David Fleminger.

Manual Scan's "Loudspeaker Theme" can be heard at the beginning of each weeks Loudspeaker program on 91X-FM. Hosted by Tim Pyles with Lou Niles and Andrew Rowley, the show airs each Sunday night from 7 - 10 p.m., shining the spotlight on San Diego's music scene. The names of dozens of San Diego based bands flash by mid video.

Blindspot Records Stage at Art Around Adams Music & Art Walk June 2 with True Stories

Blindspot Records will once again host a stage ( and book most others) at the annual Art Around Adams Music & Art Walk on June 2. The days performers on the Blindspot Stage will be:

Ariel Levine, The Joyelles featuring Normandie Wilson, True Stories, Alicia Previn, Slide Away, Bri Schillings, Ugly Boogie, Mitten.

Other artists set to take part at the FREE, all ages event include Levi Dean & The Americats, The Dinettes, My Revenge, The Shifty Eyed Dogs, Electric Mud and dozens more on 14 stages.
